Profiles sought: Students, researchers, developers, experts and start-ups in computer sciences, natural resources management, GIS and remote sensing, etc.
Participants will form multidisciplinary teams and will have to develop methods and products for crop mapping using Copernicus EU satellite images. Using the Dunia platform, teams will have access to a wide range of remote sensing data in order to design scalable, practical and user-friendly solutions that contribute to sustainable agriculture and water resources management within GMES&Africa.
Two English-French hybrid training sessions will be held before the hackathon. They will be interactive and will help prepare the participants for using DUNIA and having a perfect command of its functionalities.
